Worker injured in Dubois County after I-64 incident

A painter was injured in Dubois County on Friday after an incident on I-64, according to the Indiana Department of Transportation.
Originally, the Department of Transportation believed that a bridge over I-64 had been affected – but upon further investigation it was discovered that an incident involving a semi-truck had injured a worker on the bridge. .
INDOT tells us that a semi-blown passed through a work area on the I-64 bridge that spans Ferdinand Road. According to INDOT, this was when the truck cut a cable, causing tarpaulins and a worker to fall from where a paint job was being carried out.
The worker was taken to hospital with injuries, but there is no word on the severity of the injuries at this time.
All lanes of I-64 were closed for over an hour while an investigation took place, but have since reopened.
