The family are heartbroken after the death of a painter and decorator from Derbyshire in an accident in Wales
Jason Bown, 52, of Baslow, died at the scene of the collision on September 7.
In a statement, his family shared their sadness over his death and remembered him fondly.
They said: “We are totally shocked, devastated and heartbroken at the loss of Jason, a beloved son, brother, nephew and faithful friend to many.
“He was a biker, a perfectionist freelance painter and decorator.
“He only worked to fund his love for all things Harley Davidson, to take as many pictures of his pride and joy (his Harley) in as many places as possible.
“Words cannot explain how empty the lives of his family, friends and clients are now that he’s gone.
“He will be forever missed by all who knew him.
“We would like to thank the emergency services at the scene and the North Wales Police Road Police Investigation Unit for their support during this traumatic time.”
Officers continue to investigate the incident, which involved two motorcycles and occurred on the A5 near Rhydlanfair, Conwy, around 1:30 p.m.
The Welsh Ambulance Service and the Wales Air Ambulance attended the scene.
The other motorcyclist, a 61-year-old man, remains hospitalized with serious injuries.
Anyone with information that could assist the police in the ongoing investigation is urged to contact traffic police officers by calling 101, citing incident number 2100623457.
