Jimmy Chambless Tucker “Gram”, 88, of Jasper passed away peacefully at his home on Friday October 22, 2021.
By profession, Jimmy was a beautician, but his life was full of many useful trades. She loved sewing, canning, cooking and quilting. She didn’t believe in idle hands. She was faithful to her Lord, to her church, and loved her family.
She was predeceased by her loving and faithful husband, James Tucker; parents, Burton and Bertha Chambless; in-laws, Lester and Martha Tucker; sister, Colene and husband Bradford Sandlin; brother-in-law, Travis Tucker and his wives, Euvaughn Tucker and Jane Tucker; brothers-in-law, Charles Shubert and Johnny Frost.
She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Wilson (Richard); granddaughters, Elizabeth Huang (Ben) and Erica Bradford (Ben); great-grandson, Fisher Bradford; eldest granddaughter, Jennifer Breland (Glenn); great-grandchildren, Abbey Grace, Aubrey and Noah; her other daughter, Denise Daniel (Jerry); granddaughter, Kimberly Daniel (Jeff) and their family; grandson, Kevin Daniel and family; sisters-in-law, Wilma Frost, Christine Shubert and Bobbie Nix (Joe); and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitations and funeral services were held at Collins-Burke Funeral Home in Jasper on Monday, October 25, with visitation from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. and funeral service at 11 a.m. David Miller and Don Painter officiated. The funeral followed at Boldo Memory Gardens.
The carriers were Richard Wilson, Glenn Breland, Noah Breland, Ben Huang, Ben Bradford and Don Painter.
