Animals of the week: Luna is calm and JT is curious and happy

JACKSON, MI – The Jackson County Animal Shelter, 3770 Spring Arbor Road, has many pets available for adoption.
Here are two.
JT is a one year old white Staffordshire mix with dark brindle patches on his face which has been abandoned by his owner. He is curious, happy and resembles a puppy in his demeanor. JT is broke at home, knows the basics, and enjoys being with people.
Luna is a 3 year old female cat who is white with gray spots. She was also an owner surrender that would be best suited as the only cat in the house. Luna is calm and a little shy, but quite gentle.
A meeting with a dog is compulsory. A tour of the chat room is available to test the reaction. The dog adoption fee is $ 150 for medium and large dogs and $ 200 for puppies and small dogs, which includes vaccinations, microchip, and sterilization.
The cat adoption fee is $ 60 for one cat, $ 80 for two, which includes applicable tests, vaccines, and sterilization.
It’s always best to visit the shelter, but other adoption resources include online apps at https://www.co.jackson.mi.us/2302/Our-Adoptable-Animals, by faxing 517-780-4750 or by emailing [email protected]
