5 Lancaster City Artists Chosen to Create Attractive and Temporary Street Art Projects | Entertainment
Five artists from the City of Lancaster will work for 18 months to create temporary but attractive public art works thanks to a $ 15,000 grant awarded by the City of Lancaster on Wednesday.
Artists will follow a one-year program that will help them in their creations and network them with other artists.
A committee of people engaged in the artistic community selected the artists, according to a press release from the City of Lancaster on Wednesday.
âPACE’s neighbors will be essential in creatively connecting our community to our overall planning process,â Lancaster Mayor Danene Sorace said in the press release. “I am delighted to see local artists bringing their talents to these conversations.”
At the end of the program, the artists’ works will be presented at the Winter Visual Arts Center on the Millersville University campus or on the Franklin & Marshall College campus.
